This role will suit an experienced Field Based Trainer with Nail Technician experience who has a track record in delivering excellent results.

ABOUT THE ROLE:
Department: Operations - Training
The Field Trainer is responsible for the continued training, development and upskilling of employees in each salon. Additionally, the Field Trainer will assist with the set-up, training and opening week for any new salon opening in their area
Identify individual employees’ areas for improvement, tailoring training technique & instruction to meet their specific learning style
Provide constructive feedback to employees, highlighting areas for improvement & celebrating successes
Impart a strong sense of professionalism, a healthy work ethic and the need for teamwork
Maintain a positive and inclusive learning environment that encourages collaboration, respect and open communication
Address and resolve any conflicts or issues that arise
Assist in the training and induction of new members of the Training team
Train a high level of customer service, emphasizing the importance of building and maintaining client relationships
Hold weekly meeting with Area Manager to create and review talent maps /
succession plans, building a structured training plan to develop employees in each salon
Offer a minimum of 20 advanced training sessions per week to existing salon employees, ensuring their continued development across the following services:
Full Set Gel Extensionso Infill Gel Extensions
BIAB / Super Gel Overlay
Use of E-file
Natural nail repair
Ensure 95% of existing salon employees are signed off for add-ons after a maximum of 3 training sessions per treatment
Train employees in exemplary hygiene and safety practices
Carry out regular assessments to measure employee’s’ understanding and proficiency in Townhouse nail care techniques
Keep accurate records of attendance, scoring and employee progress
Liaise with Customer Care to understand complaints and required training needs to address and correct issues
Upskilling team members for promotions, Events, PR and New Collections
In conjunction with NSO Manager and Area Manager, leading training and opening week for any new salon opening in your area as well as assisting with NSOs in other areas as require
Minimum NVQ Level 2 Beauty Therapy or Nail Technology is desirable
Extensive experience as a professional nail technician or nail artist
Strong communication skills
Passion for teaching and helping others succeed
Up-to-date knowledge of nail care products, tools and techniques
Patience, adaptability, and the ability to work with diverse groups of students
Organizational skills for curriculum planning and administrative tasks
Field based with occasional travel to Covent Garden Academy
